“After 9 years working as a nurse practitioner, I was ready for a change. So, I went back to school and left the world of traditional medicine where prescriptions for symptoms are the norm. I call this ‘the band-aid approach.’ Of course, medicines have their place and are necessary at times, but I prefer to dig to get to the ROOT CAUSE.
